Programming note: 'Mayberry R.F.D.' airs in some MeTV markets. Most markets show 'The Andy Griffith Show' in its place. Please check our online schedule or your local listings.
In this spinoff of 'The Andy Griffith Show,' Ken Berry stars as Sam Jones, a farmer and widowed father living on the outskirts of Mayberry. Despite having no experience in local government, he finds himself elected to the Mayberry Town Council. Then, much like Sheriff Andy Taylor before him (who finally married and left town), Sam helps Mayberry's colorful cast of characters out of their daily jams.
