Disney's Chip 'n' Dale as actual chipmunks is our new favorite video

Chip 'n' Dale first scampered on the screen in 1943. Alvin and the Chipmunks may be more popular, but the Disney duo preceeded them by 15 years. We're throwing that out there for rodent bragging rights. Also, those computer animated Alvin movies pale in comparison to this brilliant little nugget (er, chestnut?).

The House of Mouse is kicking off its #DisneyThrowback week with this adorable live-action remake of its tree-dwelling twosome.

Your move, Warner Bros. We'd like to see "What's Opera, Doc" with a real bunny. What other cartoons would work with real animals?

Bonus cuteness: Scrooge McDuck as an actual duck.
