With all the merchandise coming out for the 50th anniversary of the original Star Trek television series, this one is by far the most adorable.

Build-A-Bear Workshop announced it's releasing a line of commemorative teddy bears based on characters from the original series.

Kids and collectors alike can choose from four bears, which are already available online and in stores. There are two versions of Spock, with pointed ears mimicking those of a Vulcan, an anonymous Red Shirt bear from Star Trek: Voyager, and a special 50th anniversary bear.

Prices range from $25 to $55. The more expensive bears come with phasers, but each bear can be customized with various uniforms and clips from the show's theme song.

This year is a big one for the science-fiction franchise. In addition to the original series celebrating its 50th anniversary, an array of merchandise and events have been planned to mark the occasion. Products include collectable Barbies, a makeup line and even Canadian currency

A massive fan convention is also scheduled to take place Labor Day weekend, September 2–4, in New York City.

With less than three months until the original series' official anniversary on September 8, who knows what other products will be released to celebrate the milestone?
