I would like to share a positive experience I had today with the Weigel HQ in Chicago.
I called up to complain about a vulgar, disgusting comment directed at me for no reason.
After I clicked on the offender's name and saw other crude/obscene remarks directed
at others, I knew this mutt had issues.
One Mike politely listened to me, checked out the offender's posts, and banished him
from these boards, sent him to Coventry as the Brits say, or sent him beyond the black
stump as our friends Down Under say.
Mike apologized for this guys posts slipping under the radar, the algorithm they employ didn't
catch him.
He also is looking into why when using the CONTACT option at the top of this page, my
e-mail address is rejected.
Wow, what a change to deal with a squared away, problem solving person at a
corporate HQ. Took about 10 minutes.
Oh and he explained that for now MeTV+ is only in a very few cities, so they
don't have anything here concerning it at this stage as it would confuse people.
For instance which show is on what network, etc, at a time when MeTV+ isn't widely
viewed.
Anyway, it was a beyond positive experience, so in future if there is a problem I know
I will get a friendly hearing and positive response.
Thank you for sharing 😊 It’s great when you get ahold of someone that actually knows what they’re doing 👏
Hmmm…I can’t remember reading any like that for a while. 🤔
Allison, Mrs. H,
I am so used to dealing with dullards on the phone, that this Mike was a breath of fresh air.
MeTV, give this man a raise. Oh, and the lady that initially answered the phone was very
nice too. Reflects well on the corporation.

"You got 5 out of 10.
Well... Now you've got a bunch of cool movie recommendations to check out!"

The only thing I have ever seen him in was a Christmas special with Bing Crosby, which
I watched at the time. I read some where their duet has raked in a lot of money since.
It is pretty darn good.

6/10 He was also in 'Absolute Beginners' a very good under-rated movie.

YES! I have the soundtrack on cassette!

I had the LP, found it in a thrift store still wrapped up for only 50 cents. And this was a short time after the movie had been released. I have several Bowie collections on CD, and the song 'Absolute Beginners' is on some of them.

#1, #4, and #5 I was reasonably sure. The rest were (bad) guesses.
