Once again, they have forgotten Gammera, the giant flying turtle. How can such a great creature be so easily forgotten? Not only was he huge, scary, and loud, but he could fly, and he protected children. And there were at least 2 different Gammera movies, as opposed to many of the Kaiju listed here that only starred in a single film.
King King is still in the lead.

Rodan was my second choice. My father told me about the film when I was a little tike. I saw Rodan first on the film "Monster Zero", then saw the original film when VCR's hit the scene. Great film and scary.

I picked Ghidorah, I really don’t consider King Kong a Japanese monster, Kong is an American monster. King Ghidorah which is the actual name, is Godzilla’s number one nemesis and a great villainous bad guy and can easily defeat Rodan and Mothra.

I love King Kong, but mammals don't really feel like Kaiju to me. Rodan is my favorite non-Godzilla kaiju.
