So, You Think You Know the 12 Days of Christmas

Eight... French ladies?

Help! It's Christmas, and your supposed "true love" decided to buy TOO MANY birds!

Now you've got to match each gift to the correct amount. #5 is a gimme, but look out! The rest of them might be a little trickier. And please, no cheating. It's too easy to look them up and find out there were 11 leaping lemurs or whatever this song says.

So, we name the gift, you tell us the number as it appears in the classic Christmas song "The Twelve Days of Christmas." Good luck, and be sure to share your score in the comments section below!

  1. We'll start with an easy one: How many partridges in how many pear trees?
  2. How many golden rings could one expect?
  3. How many drummers drumming?
  4. If we're talking French hens, what quantity are we looking at?
  5. Oh the maids, they are a-milking. But... how many of them are there?
  6. It's time for you to tell us how many of those dang pipers were piping.
  7. Turtle dove, number of, let us know!
  8. Ugh, as if we didn't have enough problems, here come a bunch of geese a-laying. How many are in this gaggle?
  9. Calling birds? In this economy?! Well... how many?
  10. Swans mate for life. How many did you get from your so-called "true love?"
  11. How does one even procure lords a-leaping to give as a gift? And more importantly, HOW MANY?
  12. Finally, last but not least, how many ladies dancing?
