So, it's no surprise that one of the longest-running dramatic series in history went through distinct phases with regards to its opening titles. Depending on which season you're watching, you'll see Gunsmoke appear onscreen at different times and in different ways.

Got it on the second try.
It took me 5 minutes.

Hey, I couldn't figure out why mine was wrong at first, I am SO familiar with this show, one of my absolute favorites! I KNEW that was an opening scene, so I didn't pick it - I could never forget my favorite big ol hunk Matt Dillon's rear end! 😂😂 I think that was tricky of them to focus on the word "Title" in the instructions. I was focusing on the scene. Yes RavensDawn, it took me "umpteen tries" also due to the misunderstanding & apparently many people here also misunderstood. Boo on you MeTV!
