Tampa Bay Rays are giving out cool Spock foam fingers
As we have noted, Star Trek and baseball have quite a history (well, future) together. Baseballs have appeared on Federation starships and Minor League teams on earth have worn Trek uniforms. This Friday, the Tampa Bay Rays are upping the Star Trek promotions game with these nifty foam fingers.
Instead of "We're #1," these giant hands form Spock's Vulcan salute and proclaim, "Live Long and Prosper." A much cooler message. Spock would make a great general manager, no?
If you're in the area, you must purchase tickets for the August 28 game against the Royals by Thursday night.
