Warwick Davis shared his pitch for the next Leprechaun movie
"I always imagined that after he left the human world, he’d go back to his own leprechaun family."

Some horror movies in the last few decades have earned a reputation for being rather unconventional, though perhaps no horror movie is quite so outlandish as Leprechaun. What began as a spritely, mythical creature transformed into a terrifying villain with one film, courtesy of director Mark Jones.
The original film spawned a collection of sequels, each one more far out than the last. One can’t help but wonder what the future may hold for the franchise.
Series star Warwick Davis had his own ideas for a future Leprechaun film, and he was more than willing to share those ideas with Dread Central.
Surprisingly, Davis’s ideas regarding future films were comparatively tame.
“What I always would have loved to see happen in the Leprechaun world,” said the actor. “There can’t just be him out there, so I always imagined that after he left the human world, he’d go back to his own leprechaun family, his leprechaun wife who is actually far more evil than he is. I think it would be funny to see this demented character being terrorized by his even more demented wife, and just imagine their kids!”
Warwick starred as the titular antagonist in a series of Leprechaun films, and while he was excited to see the future of the franchise, he wasn’t sure that he’d be able to continue to carry them.
“I think people tend to forget that the Leprechaun movies are actually pretty physical movies,” said the actor. “So I don’t know if I can be doing these in 20 years; I’d like to do them sooner rather than later if I do get called to be this character again, since it’s definitely a physical role and I’m not getting any younger.”
