Halloween is almost here and if you or someone you know doesn't have their costume lined up, now is the time to find one! With so much happening here at MeTV, now is the perfect time to be one of your favorite characters this Halloween.
Whether it's you, your child or even your grandchild, there are plenty of MeTV characters to choose from this Halloween, and it couldn't be easier!
From Svengoolie to Mr. Quizzer to Toony, here's how you or someone you know can be these nine MeTV characters this year!
1. Svengoolie
Let's start with the horror host with the most, our beloved Svengoolie! You'll need a red button up shirt and a black suit jacket. A top hat, or any black hat will do the trick! Here's the fun part: The makeup! All you need is some black face paint and a steady hand! Brush up on what's coming up on Svengoolie, throw in a couple of jokes (good or bad) and you're set! If you have the chance, go door to door in BERWWWYN for the best candy! Would you be a Svengoolie look-alike for Halloween?
2. Kerwyn - Svengoolie
Are you ready to laugh? If so you came to the right place, and we're not talking about Kerwyn's Corner! If Kerwyn is your favorite character from Svengoolie, take a look at this! You'll need some sort of fluffy, yellow and well, very loud suit! This look has been replicated before though, thanks to Toon In With Me host, Bill!
3. Toony - Toon In With Me
Dressing up as Toony from Toon In With Me couldn't be easier! The only thing Toony ever wears is his classic Toony T-shirt, which can be found in the MeTV Store! If you get the shirt, we do recommend washing it from time to time, unlike Toony, who has worn the same shirt for every single episode of Toon In With Me! Don't be afraid to yell out an "Oopser Doopser!" to complete the costume!
4. Bill - Toon In With Me
Aww butterscotch, we can't forget Bill, the host of Toon In With Me! If Bill is one of your favorite MeTV characters, look no further for your Halloween costume. Bill likes his outfits like he likes his toast; plain! But, it also might be the easiest costume of them all! All you need is a ballcap, pair of jeans and an old sweatshirt. That's it! Feel free to swap out the sweatshirt with a simple flannel or a polo shirt.
5. Al B. Quirky - Toon In With Me
"Holy Bananas!" Literally. Meet Al. B. Quirky! Here, any form of yellow shirt will work as your base! Throw on a pair of old glasses, grab four of five bananas and be as Quirky as possible! If you already have long hair, even better! If you don't have suspenders (we don't expect you to), perhaps use a couple of belts! Clip on bow ties are welcome, and you can use colored paper and some creativity for the arrow! If nothing else, all you need is a yellow shirt and some bananas. Oh, and just repeat the word "bananas."
6. Mr. Quizzer - Toon In With Me
If you like dressing up more than just throwing on a yellow shirt, then you could be "jemmy winning game show host, Mr. Quizzer!" Any type of necktie will do fine, and if you don't have that baby blue suit jacket, throw on a jean jacket to complete this look! The fake mustache is optional, but you have to say "Quizzer out!" whenever applicable.
7. Simon Shock - Toon In With Me
Wrangle up the "morning zoo crew" with Simon Shock this Halloween! Simon and Bill have a lot of the same taste, so if you want to have a little bit more of an edge, dress up as Simon! You can still use the old sweatshirt and jeans, but you'll have to add a pair of sunglasses and find a wig, unless your hair is as immaculate as Simon's! We're not sure where you can find the hair care product "Simon Shock's Friz," but if you keep bopping your head to any sort of beat, you'll be able to pull this look off!
8. Blob E. Blob - Sventoonie
On the Sventoonie side, Blob E. Blob could be the perfect fun Halloween costume for a kid of any age! Or, as we see here, any adult! Notice how Bill from Toon In With Me nailed this look. Just a pink sheet and a blue hat does the trick! If you don't have a pink sheet, we know you have a white one and a red sock. Throw those in the wash and your Blob E. Blob costume will be ready to go!
9. Trevor - Sventoonie
If Blob E. Blob isn't your style, you could be Trevor, another buddy of Sventoonie! You'll need a long-sleeve black shirt, a red T-shirt and a red hat. Much like other MeTV characters, you'll need some makeup! The good news, with these colors, you can get creative! Don't forget the lines under the eyes!
