Russell Johnson, Gilligan's Island flew 44 combat missions as a bombardier during World War 2.

Eddie Albert risked his own life to save others during the battle of Tarawa in world war two. A real hero in my book.

President Reagan was in the Navy. You also forgot Glenn Ford who was either in the Navy or Army. Both held a commission.

You forgot Leonard Nimoy, US Army and James Doohan, who lost his finger at D-Day with the Canadian Army.
Ken Osmond also was a motorcycle cop with the LAPD. He was shot while on duty in 1980.

I didn't know that most of the M*A*S*H cast was actually in the military at one point, that changes everything and makes M*A*S*H hit at a different level.
