Are these real 'Peanuts' films or did we just make them up?

Calling all Charles Schulz and 'Peanuts' super fans, it's your time to shine!

One of the best parts about the holiday season is watching classic cartoon films by Charles Schulz.

When the weather outside is chilly and flurries of snowflakes begin to fall, it's time to grab a glass of hot chocolate, snuggle in a blanket, and indulge in the Peanuts universe. Schulz gave us the fictional universe that followed the adventures and life of Charlie Brown, his dog Snoopy, and his friends.

With so many of them to choose from, where do you begin? Well, you can start with testing your Peanuts knowledge by taking this quiz to see if you know which film names are real and which ones are made up!

Good luck!

I'm not sure about #6. Never heard of it.

I highly recommend Snoopy vs The Red Baron (a very real song).

The full title for "Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown" is "Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (And Don't Come Back!)"
TheSentinel Andy 17 months ago
With the "And don't come back!" part said by that stupid Lucy.

I missed IT WAS A SHORT SUMMER, CHARLIE BROWN - I was thinking more of the ARTHUR episode with, "The Short, Quick Summer."

10/10. I have the "Peanuts 1970's Collection Vol 2" on DVD, which includes several of the more obscure specials from that decade. Before ABC (sadly) lost the contract to air the Peanuts specials, they showed a few of these, including "You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown" and "It Was a Short Summer, Charlie Brown" as double features with the more well-known ones.

Unfortunately, ABC chopped up both "You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown," as well as "Charlie Brown's All-Stars." Next time I go to the WB Shop's website I'll check to see if that compilation you mentioned is still available.

But back to the quiz: 9/10. I didn't know "He's a Bully, Charlie Brown" was an actual TV special.

They had kids do voices in peanuts
TheSentinel GNOSTICTRACY 17 months ago
Which was Charles Schulz's idea IIRC, as opposed to original Peanuts network CBS (which wanted adult voice actors to voice the kids). Can you imagine how different the Peanuts specials would've been if CBS had gotten its way regarding the character voices?

9 out of 10. Missed on He's a Bully, Charlie Brown. Sad because I'm a huge Peanuts fan.
