It's doggone hot outside!
According to the Farmer's Almanac, the "dog days of summer" is a phrase referring to the Dog Star, Sirius. Since Sirius' dawn rising coincided with the hottest and most sweltering period of the year, ancient Greeks thought that the combined brightness of Sirius and the Sun was to blame for the heat.
However, to us, it also means an excuse to look at some cute dogs on classic TV. We've picked seven dogs, and you've got to match them to the correct show (hopefully, while sitting in the AC or sipping a cool drink.)
