Can you match each tagline to its movie?

Can you pick the movie from just a few words?

One of the many tools movie studios use to sell movies is the tagline.

These are the catchy, one- or two-sentence phrases that are used to get you excited without giving too much away. So, think of them like a little invitation, hopefully drawing you into the theaters for a new cinematic adventure.

There are a ton of famous movie taglines, and we're going to quiz you on a few. Good luck, and be sure to share your score in the comments section below!

  1. “Be afraid. Be very afraid.”
  2. “His whole life was a million-to-one shot.”
  3. “The happiest sound in all the world.”
  4. “The true story of a real fake”
  5. “One man’s struggle to take it easy.”
  6. “If you only see one movie this year … you need to get out more often.”
  7. “See our family. And feel better about yours.”
  8. “His story will touch you, even though he can’t.”
  9. “You don’t assign him to murder cases. You just turn him loose.”
  10. “She gets kidnapped. He gets killed. But it all ends up okay.”

Can you match each tagline to its movie?

9 out of 10 right! The only one I missed was the question about "The Naked Gun."

Yes, that refers to an exchange between Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder! Fun Fact: Depp once had a tattoo which said "Winona Forever"! After they broke up, he changed it to "Wino Forever"!

I liked a lot of those movies.

And... it may not have even made a dent in the box office, but I thought The Stupids was a pretty funny movie.
