Question #6 messed me up. Goober went out with Lydia at least three times during that one episode so I figured that was considered "dating" Lydia was a great character!

Goober wasn't "dating" her (Lydia Crosswaith), he only had one date with her.

The woman on the right is Flora, who worked at the diner, the lady on the bottom was Lydia, who was also a future girlfriend for Andy, chosen by Barney.
Excellent character. 🤗

Now, if one wants to get technical with question #5: the first person of the opposite sex Opie was "smitten with," was his teacher, in the 1964 episode: "Opie Loves Helen."
He also had some earlier crushes in the first season or two, at least two little girls that I remember, plus I think, Thelma Lou. He really got around.
He had a girlfriend that he wanted to buy a coat. He only donated $.03 to the charity and Andy flipped out. That was season 1.
But the question asked about the girl in the episode *titled* "Opie's First Love". (And she grew up to be the half-sister of Cliff Barnes on "Dallas"!)
