Can you tell if Raymond Burr is playing Perry Mason — or another character?

Perry rarely loses a case. How about you?

 The Everett Collection

Before he became Perry Mason and a crusader of justice, Raymond Burr typically played a thug. What a career turn. After stepping into the television courtroom, however, he instantly became a respected legal authority figure. No wonder he played similar roles in 1950s movies.

But can you tell them apart?

Pay close attention to the clues. Look at the co-stars. See if you can tell the difference between Perry Mason and a different character.

The two I missed were questionable, I took a guess for the wrong reason. I miss Raymond Burr terribly even when he played Ironsides.

8/11, I knew most of them and I have only watched a few or the original Perry Mason Episodes. I have seen all of the Perry Mason Movies, at least all the ones shown on METV. The 3 I missed were very hard to tell.

It's on at 11:30pm (11:35 actually) local time here in California . My dad was a lawyer and always watched Perry Mason when it was originally on the air.

That's so awesome he was a lawyer & watched Perry Mason! I always wonder if doctors, lawyers, or cops watch law, medical, or cop shows themselves & if so with eyes of scrutiny. I watched the Emergency! reunion show not long ago & thought it was pretty neat how that show inspired so many people to become EMTs/firemen, even to this day. 😀
