8/10 I remember this episode and how Clara planted the idea in Bea’s head that she needed to scram and give Andy some space with Helen. What a friend Clara is ;-O

10/10. Not one of my favorite episodes. In fact, I thought it was a sad episode. I felt sorry for Aunt Bee. I especially hate the line Clara said to her "...you know at our age we can't be picky." I think what a cruel thing to say to her friend, Bee. Uggh.

I agree I felt sorry for aunt Bee
Buzzyleonard Jacki 17 hours ago
Yes, Clara was like that. I think she was always jealous of Aunt Bee.

I think you're right. Clara was also the one who talked Aunt Bee into buying all of that tough beef, and then Bee's freezer broke. I still love the part in that episode when she and Opie were taking the meat in Opie's wagon to her regular butcher to store and all of the dogs were chasing them; that was hilarious!😄

Yes, and Andy is yelling at her to call the man. Very funny!

That was funny

I always laugh when Fred says "a woman like that oughta be run out of town". The actor that played Fred was only in two episodes. After his second appearance he had a stroke and spent the rest of his life hospitalized.
Jacki Robersot 16 hours ago
That's sad. Poor man.
