10/10---I watch this one every time it broadcasts: I love it when "Popinjay Fox" is declared a casualty, and when Kirk regains a phaser and directs the council to "Move, move, move!"

Trivia: Gene Lyons (Ambassador Fox) is best known for his role on Ironside (1967~1974) as Police Commissioner Dennis Randall. Gene dated actresses Lee Grant & Grace Kelly. Miko Mayama (Tamula) was in a relationship with Burt Reynolds and dated Frank Sinatra.
The beautiful Albert Whitlock matte painting would be the last one used in which actors were inserted into the shot.
First time the full name of the United Federation of Planets was used.
The sonic disruptors and the communicators would be modified and become Klingon weapons and communicators.

10/10. General order 24 must have been in place before the prime directive went into effect.
