Watch the first 10 min now and you might not want to watch later. Once they have the get together party at one of the homes it just seems to fit the tone of them going on this voyage to the moon. Of course being more then 200,000 miles away with a spacecraft in need of serious repair and hope to get home before all systems fail. What a tragedy that would have been.

You best get the ones you like. They are going kaput tonight. Though you can see them on my time line. I don't want to give Them an excuse for sending me a one way ticket out of town (MeTV).
Very exciting win but they crashed and burned last night. Tomorrow night is the game 7 do or die back here. Should be exciting.

Where everyone can take a guess or make comments to other quizzers.
There will be extra bonus movies for just coming by. Including entertainment for all. Feel free to ask questions, copy movie links and just plain join in the fun via communication. The MQ will be up until the movie is guessed and an hour to look over and pick out what you wish. Have fun doing so. There are no wrong answers but the first one to guess the correct movie gets their names put up for getting it correctly.
Good luck and enjoy and check out the early Bird vids for quizzers

Fabulous clips! I love the “I’ve Got A Gal In Kalamazoo” clip from the movie “Orchestra Wives”. Marion Hutton’s shoulders get a good work out while she is singing along with Tex Beneke. Jackie Gleason and Cesar Romero are in the orchestra. I’ve always loved Louis Prima and Keely Smith. I think they were still married in the clip. Very entertaining. I think they would have been fun at a party. The Maltese Falcon is such a good noir. Every role is perfection. Always watch when it shows up on TCM. I think I saw Backfire years ago but can’t be sure. 🤔 It seems to me it had a complicated plot. I have always gotten a kick out of the “Road” movies. Thanks for these..
Hard to believe some movies did not win the Academy Awards. Double Indemnity beat out by Going My Way. Spell Bound beat out by The Lost Weekend. The Best Years Of Our Lives beating out It's A Wonderful Life and The Killers. That I can see. Casablanca a slam dunk. All About Eve beating out the Third Man and Sunset Blvd. A Place In the Sun beating out The African Queen. The Quiet beating out High Noon. On The Waterfront beating out Rear Window an Sabrina. Also the fact that Hitchcock though nominated many times never won. That's okay because we've got almost all of his flicks. We will have all of Fords movies, William Wyler's, Billy Wilder, Frank Capra, Elia Kazan, Joseph L. Mankiewicz, John Huston and the likes. You won't have to wait an Eternity for them to appear on TV. Did you know they used to have a Moscow International Film Festival? Here is one of them if interested. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5th_Moscow_International_Film_Festival
Some years I think a couple of good ones get cancelled out by a film that is not quite as good. I will check out the Moscow Film Festival.
We have Jaws so that will be one of the four showing plus 2-3 others. The following week will be some of the directors I posted.
Interesting about the Moscow International Film Festival. It is still going on. I had a look at the movies featured. I am guessing no movies from the US are included. I am curious who shows up for the event.
Not sure if it is going on still. Last I saw was 2021 but who knows what shows up today because of the restraints and war going on. The one I gave you is from years ago and had like dozens of countries even USA. Maybe they were able to not mix politics and rhetoric during Cold War times. Saw a list of like 30 movies and 2 I even knew. I've never watched a Russian movie before. French and Italian film with subs I have. Some very good. I have seen some USA vs Russia older flicks like Ice Statin Zebra. Or the one in the sub chaser The Bedford Incident. If I remember it did not end up good for them at the ending. It's really too bad in real life that humans can't get along with one another. All want that power.
9/10. They hit you with a hard one right off the bat. Mainly because yes, Don Messick HAS voiced Droopy, but he's not the most well known voice of Droopy, which would be Bill Thompson. In anycase, I missed #3, mainly because I don't think I've seen it.
9/10, I did'nt know that Don worked on "JBTO". I do remember that he voiced Droopy in "Tom & Jerry Kids" & "Droopy Master Detective" (Way after Bill Thompson Died). In "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", Richard Williams (Director of Animation) voiced the dog.
"You got 9 out of 10. You're a doggone winner!"
