"You got 8 out of 10. Way to go!"
I loved Abbott & Costello since I was 5, saw every movie and the TV series, waited 45 years
to finally see Lou's appearance on Wagon Train and at that point thought I had seen everything they
had done(plus Lou's solo in "The 50 Foot Bride of Candy Rock").
Then I recently started seeing The Colgate Comedy Hour which alternated Abbott & Costello
with Martin & Lewis. Basically both teams did their nightclubs act and they were great, the boys
filled with energy playing in front of a live audience, obviously making up stuff on the spot.
I often read that both teams nightclub acts were legend, in my opinion Martin & Lewis's
act on this series blew away any of their movies, people who don't care for Lewis can see
he was a comedy genius when going live, Dean shone as well.
MeTV, please consider getting this series, there is a point of diminishing returns with the
marginal series like Barnaby Jones which isn't exactly a classic.
Try something "new", you might strike gold, a variety show like the Smothers Brothers
filled with the top guest stars would be a nice change from the cookie cutter episodes
of Barnaby Jones.
Whoa, went off on a serious tangent here.

Nah...I'll pass on this one. Could have at least supplied a picture of the actor/actress from a scene of whichever episode. Then again, the "both" would have gotten many of us. Most are more familiar with "Wagon Train"...not Wagon...what was it again?
