What episode of The Andy Griffith Show was the last for these actors?

You might remember each character's last scene, but can you recall what episode it's from?

The Andy Griffith Show will always be remembered first for Sheriff Andy Taylor and Deputy Barney Fife, and rightfully so. The combo made the show what it was, a smash-hit that never fell out of the Nielsen top-ten ratings.

Andy Griffith and Don Knotts were cornerstones for the show, but there were plenty of fan-favorite characters aside from those two. Some of those roles were more substantial than others, resulting in more appearances. One way or another, each character eventually had their final episode on The Andy Griffith Show.

Now, we’re asking you: What was the episode we last saw these actors in on TAGS?

Good luck!

Nice work! Feel free to relax now that this quiz is over. Maybe a little more relaxed than Barney!

Fan favorite Ernest T. Bass... I must be the only person who couldn't stand that character.

I still have a shred of dignity left. I'm not going to hold myself up for ridicule by announcing my score. If you find out I only got 3 answers correct, you won't get it out of me. I'm a sphinx.

8/11. I missed #1. I thought Andy got married and that was it. I don't remember him in "Mayberry RFD".

8/11; Number 8 is incorrect - Ron Howard appeared as Opie for the final time on the first episode of Mayberry RFD.

Devil is in the details for sure. It took me coming back to the quiz to realize I was doing the same thing, not realizing to only think of the Andy Griffith Show and also not realizing that the last episode of that particular series was entitled Mayberry, RFD. Messed me up in a few.
