Although I answered #6 correctly, I'd much rather think that Aunt Bee just took a trip to Hawaii or went on a Royal Caribbean Cruise.

So, I finally got them all right! Maybe my problem is that I've seen the TV episode just a bit TOO often?

If i'm not mistaken Francis Bavier (Aunt Bee) died in 1989. So she was available for this movie but she and Griffith did not get along too well off-camera, so she probably passed on this.

8/8. I remember watching this when it came out. It was kinda depressing to see all the changes.

For me, it was nice seeing all the characters(or most of them), but the filming location they picked for Mayberry was horrendous! It neither looked, nor felt, anything like Mayberry. Even my small hometown would have worked much better, and I am in Wisconsin.
