Who was credited for more episodes of M*A*S*H?

The total number of credits these actors received just might surprise you!

With 11 seasons, 251 episodes and storylines that have kept M*A*S*H fans coming back for 50 years, the series certainly had multiple formulas for success across its run. The ability to blend major and minor roles throughout the show is just one of the reasons it has dominated television screens for five decades.

When comparing characters, in some cases, it's easy to know which was on the show longer. But when major roles clash with other major roles, and limted parts run together, it might be tough to know which actor was featured more.

Take a look at each of the actors below and choose who you believe was credited for more episodes throughout the series, in most cases, leading to more appearances.

Choose carefully, they just might have been credited for the same exact number of episodes!

This would have been a better quiz if you'd asked who appeared in more episodes. Alda appeared in more episodes than Swit, and it's annoying to start a quiz with a trick question. Alda also received writing, directing, and producing credits, so he was credited more as well.

8/10, but wow! 44 episodes versus 48? 180 versus 179? Who could know that?

Well, I refuse to finish this quiz for one reason: There is a clear difference between getting a credit and actually being in an episode! For example, Ray Collins got a credit in every episode of Perry Mason through season 8, even though he last appeared in season 7!

I got 4/10. I got #2, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 wrong. I didn't pay attention to how many episodes the actors were in. I am probably the only one who likes when B.J, Colonal Potter, and Winchester comes on the show.

No, I liked it when they came on too! I actually preferred Potter over Blake.
What I DIDN'T like is when Alda basically took over all the eps in seasons 8 and 9!

7/10 I thought Wayne Rogers appeared more than Stevenson but I goofed somehow! I'm more of a fairweather fan after The Blake Years!

1/10 wouldn’t think I’ve seen even one episode. Heck was late to my own wedding because of MASH.

Which was the one you got? (For me it was Odessa Cleveland)
