Yes/No: Do these famous classic TV names have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame?

Arguably all of these names deserve a spot on the famed sidewalk. But which ones don't have a star?

The Hollywood Walk of Fame in Southern California has been adding movie, music and television stars since the golden age of television.

There are now over 2,700 stars on the Walk of Fame, with the number growing each year. That is a lot of stars added since Joanne Woodward earned the ceremonial first star on Feb. 9, 1960.

Below are some of MeTV's best shows and the top stars they feature. Do you know if these names have a star of the Walk of Fame?

  1. Let's start strong with M*A*S*H. Does Maj. Houlihan actress Loretta Swit have a star?
  2. How about Cpl. Maxwell Klinger actor Jamie Farr?
  3. How about legendary M*A*S*H star Alan Alda?
  4. Let's jump to The A-Team. Does B.A. Baracus actor Mr. T have a star?
  5. What about George Peppard, who played The A-Team's leader, Hannibal Smith?
  6. Does anthology master Alfred Hitchcock have a star on the Walk of Fame?
  7. To Gilligan's Island. Does Gilligan actor Bob Denver have a star?
  8. What about The Skipper, Alan Hale Jr.?
  9. From Bonanza, does Dan Blocker have a star on the Walk of Fame?
  10. How about Donna Reed from The Donna Reed Show?
  11. From The Andy Griffith Show and Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C., does Jim Nabors have a star?
  12. To another Western in Gunsmoke. Does James Arness have a star on the Walk of Fame?
  13. How about Amanda Blake, who played Kitty on Gunsmoke?
  14. From Leave It to Beaver, does Tony Dow have a Walk of Fame star?
  15. What about Jerry Mathers, who played the Beaver?
  16. Does James Garner from Maverick have a star?
  17. How about Steve McQueen from Wanted: Dead or Alive?
  18. William Shatner certainly has a star on the Walk of Fame, but what about Leonard Nimoy who played Mr. Spock on Star Trek?
  19. Does Raymond Burr, who played Perry Mason have a star?
  20. Finally, does Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood have a star?

How in the world does Clint Eastwood not have a star?

okay, the faux way people can get Stars on the Walk of Fame has always been interesting, to as the least. However, if these questions are actually correct...There are a ton of "stars" that need to be put down.

8/20! #11 is wrong because I've seen a picture with Jim Nabors and a few others with one of them star thingys! I'll prove it to you!

I'm sorry, but I didn't go yesterday because I don't check in on Mondays, Wednesday's, and Thursdays anymore. So if y'all were wondering where I was yesterday, that's why. And I was also out trick or treating. So I didn't even have time to come here either

Only got 10 out of 20, but I'm more surprised about who does and doesn't have a Walk of Fame star than being disappointed in getting a low score.

14/20. There is apparently no rhyme or reason for how you get a star.
Pacificsun McGillahooala 25 months ago
Yeah, there is actually. Quite a bit of criteria. See my comment above.

Really surprised that Alan Alda does not have a star.
Pacificsun ELEANOR 25 months ago
I thought that too until I saw the nomination process.

Thanks for the invitation. I think I came across it a bit too late this evening. Just turned out the front lights on the trick or treaters about 10 minutes ago - enough is enough now (time for those little ones to get to bed & older ones like me to get some rest). 😄 Please don't take Mr absence as a snub (it's not) & do please include me if you do something on other occasions in the future. Hope everyone had fun.

"My" absence, not "Mr" absence. I do so dislike autoincorrect. 😁

7/10…Talk about embarrassing 🤦‍♀️ And to think I was born and raised in L.A. Jeeez! 😆
Yep. Plus left out 11-20. Are you the Hollywood ---Square they were talking about 🤣-
Sure looks like it 😂
Mags says: welp, I'm gonna have to talk to her about this again I see (😐🐶)

13/20. I visited the walk and I am surprised by some of those who didn’t have stars. It to seem to be preference to the star in seeking one.
