Here's how Barbara Hale juggled her personal and professional life
The Perry Mason actor made time for fame and family.

Barbara Hale wasn't just an incredible actor; she also worked hard at being an amazing mother to her kids.
Hale married Bill Williams in 1946, and together they had three children. While the glitz and glamour of Hollywood can feel difficult to step away from at times, Hale seemed to have no issue at all. In fact, it seemed that the Perry Mason star's personal life was just as exciting as any sort of Hollywood debauchery any actor could manage to get into.
"Between assignments, I really work at being a mother," said Hale during an interview with the Chicago Tribune. "We do all sorts of crazy things together - things the kids pick out. And we really have fun."
Of course, Hale wasn't running her house single-handedly, and she was totally comfortable admitting that. "If I weren't working, maybe we couldn't afford the housekeeper, who does the housework, and allows me to be free to enjoy the children," said the actor.
In addition, Hale relied on a nurse for her children, as well as her mother, in times of personal crisis.
Although Hale's husband, Bill Williams, was also a successful actor, the two were never away from their children for very long. It seemed that fortune favored their family in more ways than one.
"As an additional bit of luck, Bill and I always seem to be busy with our careers at different times," said Hale during an interview with the Daily News. "When I'm rushed, he's in a slow season, and vice versa. As a result, one or the other manages to be at home with the youngsters."
