Another crackpot maneuver by the very mixed up "programmers" at MeTv.
Just like the residual scam they're working with M*A*S*H
Shameful!
I feel like a M*AS*H POTATO!

Why not Happy Days? Or better yet why isn't Happy Days in your Line-up? You only played the Christmas episodes. Why? You can only stream a limited amount of episodes.

The final love boat episode was season 10 episode 4.
This episode includes cameos by Jayne Meadows, Steve Allen, Army Archerd, Barbi Benton, Milton Berle, Barbara Billingsley, Tom Bosley, Ruth Buzzi, Carol Channing, Charo, Bert Convey, Elinor Donahue, Tony Dow, David Doyle, Florence Henderson, Artie Johnson, Gordon Jump, Don Knotts, Judy Landers, Tina Louise Jerry Mathers, Tom Poston, Louis Nye, Juliette Prowse, Robert Reed, Charlene Tilton, Vic Tayback, Leslie Uggams, Jo Ann Worley and Jane Wyatt. All of whom appeared on The Love Boat several times during the run of the show.
Why isn’t this the episode being shown?

How about The Rockford Files
Or St Elsewhere.
Even Marcus Welby for some quality '70s comedy.

Someone hated all in the family but loved the partridges.no wonder this country is so messed up
George58 trogg888 10 months ago
The reason that there are people who actually like All In The Family is the reason this country is so messed up.
Diamonds64 George58 10 months ago
Disagree. All In The Family was ahead of its time. Genius writing, acting and direction. Made you think and made us have a conversation. Much like we are doing now.

The last episode of "The Andy Griffith
Show" Mayberry RFD which everyone knows is in color. Can we expect to see the missing color episodes after the New Year?
cperrynaples seltaeb 10 months ago
Proably not! You can see color TAGS on Paramount+ and Mayberry RFD runs on MeTV+!
Wiseguy70005 10 months ago
Of course, these are the last AIRED episodes not necessarily the last PRODUCED episodes. In other words, mostly irrelevant.
Pacificsun Wiseguy70005 10 months ago
How are you figuring that out (the reader queries cynically). In fact every Series on television has a "last" episode. The difference being as to whether it was celebrated that way. And the storyline (purpose) is what counts in terms of MeTV's theme.
ttenchantr Wiseguy70005 10 months ago
Very few of these are actual finales at all.
cperrynaples Wiseguy70005 10 months ago
TRUE! The last produced TAGS was the one where Goober tried computer dating!
seltaeb cperrynaples 10 months ago
That wasn't one of their better episodes. I wonder why they had the character who played Charlene Darling as, Sam Jones girlfriend instead of Millie (Howard's Ex).

12/27/23 . Some great requests listed here for changing up the MeTV morning/daytime schedule that has become a little stale, but does anyone know how to contact the Programming Manager, as I doubt they read any of these questions.

It may not make a difference, if they do not care, but at least I would know they were actually aware of the requests.

Thanks for anyone who can help.

i agree on the westerns, WAY too many. i feel if they only showed them on Saturdays(i was thinking that they could remove the 3 stooges and do 6-12 for the cartoons and 1-6 for the westerns) i would be ok with them. another show i would like METV to cut back on is MASH, remove it on sundays, and put it back to 1 hour for weekdays.AITF needs to be either removed, or put at a later time slot(maybe swap times with DVD or the honeymooners).
Pacificsun George58 10 months ago
They do have people reading comments. As well as measuring their demographics. But have chosen a style of programming in block format. Which means running a chain of episodes from the same Series, so that they're aired sequentially. This is one way to keep viewers interested in the same channel (network) without giving them the opportunity to channel-surf to find something more appealing. Keeping in mind, that programming is actually at the advertisers' discretion, not the viewers. So they can charge more money for advertising time during a block, because viewers are more likely to stay tuned. As far as advertising is concerned, there's also more value in repeating their commercials (endlessly) so that watchers end up memorizing them.
ttenchantr George58 10 months ago
I agree that All in the Family should be taken off Sundays and instead be shown during the week in place of any of the tired old shows they show during Prime Time, especially The Andy Griffith Show.
Moverfan Kramden62 10 months ago
Maybe, maybe not (I was twelve in 1974 and I don't remember if they were on opposite All In The Family or not), but this was part of the reason CBS did their infamous "Rural Purge", canceling Green Acres, The Beverly Hillbillies, Hee Haw and others because they wanted to run more "sophisticated" programming (still don't understand how they fit Hogan's Heroes into the "rural" definition).
But as they say, living well is the best revenge. Hee Haw decided to go into first-run syndication, like they do with game shows and daytime talk shows. The result was two years on CBS and almost thirty in syndication...SALLLLUUUTE!

What about more "memorable" movies...such as the remade Perry Mason TV movies? There are so many westerns on in the afternoon, Rifleman, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Wagon Train, etc.....TOO MANY!
What about TV shows like Quincy and Ironsides or the old Adam West "Batman"? Another viewer suggested Get Smart and the Munsters--another great idea!
Wiseguy70005 cindyl 10 months ago
Quincy and Ironside (not Ironsides, that's the name of a ship, the USS Constitution) are on Get TV. Munsters might still be on Universal owned COZI TV.
skiboot cindyl 10 months ago
I agree with you!!
timothys71 Wiseguy70005 10 months ago
Yes, I am quite sure the Munsters are on Cozi. I just watched them on that channel recently. MeTV has aired The Addams Family on and off; I would love to see it come back on.
ttenchantr cindyl 10 months ago
Batman is on Saturday night on MeTV.

Catchy Comedy had an AF marathon after the death of Lisa Loring AKA Wednesday!

I'd like to see The Munsters, Get Smart, etc.
cperrynaples Runeshaper 10 months ago
Munsters is "another channel" and Peacock, Get Smart is Catchy Comedy but ONLY on Frndly where it replaces Phil Silvers!

They also did a promo years back:

Good idea of having the finales for the finale of 2023.
LoveMETV22 10 months ago
Looks like a good schedule. Would've swapped out an extra episode of Gilligan's Island and went with
2 "Giiligan's Island" and 2 "The Beverly Hillbillies", but oh well.

He was washing windows at the end of the episode.

To clarify those answers: Jethro thought that Jed's concrete was Granny's oatmeal and Mike Minor washed windows to pay back Mr. Drysdale! Originally it was Elly's chimp who did it!
Just a minor correction.. it was Davey Crockett who he told Granny he was related to and not Daniel Boone.
