A Quick Reminder- Flashback Weekend is here!

I just wanted to remind  everyone that the Flashback Weekend horror convention starts today- and that I'll be there tomorrow, Saturday, signing from 2-4 pm, then, at 4:15, I will host the Sinister Visions costume contest! You don't have to pre-register for it- just be ready to line up about 30 minutes before it begins! (Oh, and it helps if you have a costume!) It's always a lot of fun for me, and, I hope, the audience!

On Sunday-Monster Family Fun Day- join me at 1 pm for a fun two hours,featuring the special screening of the Rankin-Bass stop-motion monster mash "Mad Monster Party"- Flashback is encouraging families to attend Sunday, and I'll be doing some audience participation  games during the presentation- so, you and your family could end up on stage with me! Also present will be our friend the Rankin-Bass expert and historian Rick Goldschmidt to give us a little information about the movie- he will also have some special items to show, and will have his books available !

Flashback Weekend  is at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare hotel on River Road in Rosemont, IL. You'll get to meet special guests from the horror world, including many cast members of "Halloween " movies, "ReAnimator" films, and some of the Rob Zombie flicks- also, John Carroll Lynch who played the frightening "Twisty the Clown" on "American Horror Story: Freak Show"- and many more! Plus- lots of dealer booths with incredible merchandise!
