Ask Sven Anything on Reddit- Wednesday!

Just a quick reminder- I'll be doing the Reddit "Ask Me Anything" session tomorrow from 3 to 4;30 or so. Obviously, we will NOT be able to answer everything that comes in, but we'll do what we can. This should be a pretty exciting event!

I will freely admit I don't know a great deal about Reddit- so I'm right in line with many of you!  You should be able to take part on your computer, and there is also a Reddit phone app. One of our blog posters, Lynn, had some info on that- but was having trouble posting it - so, here's what she found out:

"I wanted to share with you what I’ve figured out so far about Reddit. Any of you might know more, and if you do, please sing out!

The first thing is that the mobile phone version is much different than the desktop computer version. For the instructions below, please be sure NOT to use the mobile device version (i.reddit.com).

Go to www.reddit.com. Scroll to the bottom of the home page. Under the logo with the balloons, there are four columns.

Under the “apps and tools” column, click on “reddit AMA app”. This will take you to a page that will allow you to download the free Reddit AMA app. You can download the Apple app store version, or the Google play version (android).

Once you have downloaded the app, you will create a login. Then you might want to look at examples of previous AMA sessions to get a feel for how these sessions work.

I tried to sit in on another AMA session this morning, and I couldn’t manage to get in. So there is a lot I don’t know yet. But I wanted to start the conversation, so that we can see what we can figure out together before Sven’s AMA."
