C U at C2E2 Saturday!

Just a quick reminder- you can meet me at the C2E2 convention this Saturday, April 26th, at Chicago's McCormick Place! The plan is that I will be signing from 2:45 to 4:15 at table 2 of the autograph area (usually a long row of tables with various folks signing at the same time). Most likely, we will have to stop cold at 4:15, so PLEASE get in line early for an autograph, or to pose with me for a picture. We will also be wandering the hall both before and after, but, since we'll have limited time and be working with our crew, we ask that you get autographs during the appointed time when when we're signing at the table.

There are SO many comic artists, writers, movie and TV personalities on hand- not to mention some legendary wrestlers- and the vendors have such a great assortment of comics and collectibles, I wish that I'd have more time  to just look around at everything- including the many great cosplay costumes that talented people come up with!

May is shaping up to be a great Sven month a several fronts- make sure you sign up for our free newsletter  (you can also find the way to do that on this site) so you can get the inside info first!...and, there are more interesting , one-of-a-kind things happening in the future- I'll reveal more when I'm allowed...

I saw that they are doing a pilot for a sequel to "How I Met Your Mother"- called "How I Met Your Dad"- as I mentioned on Twitter (@svengoolie), I'm preparing a sequel, too, called "How I Changed the Channel"...

I have a VERY strong dislike for a commercial I've seen running in a local morning news show- it looks like it COULD be an interview segment of the newscast, complete with the "guest" thanking the host for having him in- BUT IT'S A COMMERCIAL! The FCC used to prohibit  sponsors from making a commercial look like news or part of a newscast- so, why isn't there some indication in that spot?
