It’s Clobberin’ Time in “The Land Unknown”- Tonight!

It's a chock-loaded show tonight on MeTV- with a couple segments covering the C2E2 convention, plus a visit to a tropical paradise-in the Antarctic- and loaded with prehistoric peril! We're headed to- "The Land Unknown"!

It's a Navy expedition to the frigid Antarctic- to investigate a strange phenomenon- an area of unusually warm temperatures. Commander Roberts, along with a two man crew and Maggie,the obligatory female reporter, are flying towards the area when they get the warning of an approaching storm. While attempting to get past it- "something" strikes their helicopter's rotor, forcing them to land wherever possible.

That landing space seems to be the Twilight Zone- because it's a steaming tropical jungle- not the usual thing one would find in the Antarctic! While attempting to contact help- and repair their copter- the group encounters more from the realm of the unbelievable- dinosaurs! Not only that- they also spot what appear to be -human footprints!

It's a battle between the expedition members, dinosaurs from land, sea, and air, a mysterious human inhabitant of the jungle,  and deadly man-(or woman-) eating plants! Can the crew survive- or even escape this strange hot spot?

This 1957 sci-fi film has some interesting looking dinosaurs- we'll tell you about them, as well as our cast ( watch for a still picture of Tarzan- we're still not sure if it actually is our leading man Jock Mahoney!)- and, we have two segments featuring some of the sights and guests at the recent C2E2 comic and entertainment convention in Chicago- with fabulous costumes,and incredible guests - watch for a chat with former WWE wrestler/ now comics writer and MMA  fighter C M Punk, talking about his Sven memories! (BTW-next week- another visit with our pal Jerry "the King" Lawler!)

"The Land Unknown" will reveal itself tonight at 10 pm eastern/pacific, 9 central, or check local listings to find out what time we run in your area. Our Chicago viewers can tune in to WCIU, the U, at 11 am for a second look at "Revenge of the Creature"!
