Late ( and I do mean LATE) Breaking News

I'll be on the radio with my pal Nick Digilio late tonight (or early Wednesday morning!) around 2:15 am on WGN- 720 AM . Most likely we'll discuss some of my upcoming movies,appearances, and whatever else comes to mind.

Don't forget my next  on location appearance- this Saturday at Feeney Auto Group in Elgin! We had a long line of fans last year, and it looks like decent weather this time- so, the line just might be longer- make sure you get there early, before the line gets closed down so we can end on time! You'll find details under the "appearances" tab here on the site.

I also want to mention something that ISN'T a Sven appearance, but is Sven-related and really cool- you may know that I've worked with my talented friends the West Suburban Symphony Orchestra in the past- well, they've got a concert coming up on Sunday the 18th- that includes a familiar musical theme! The concert is filled with colossal, spine-tingling music that celebrates the supernatural, and features themes from classic movies, TV shows, and fairy tales: John Williams' and Calvin Custer's Jurassic Park Highlights ... Akira Ifukube's and John DeSentis' Godzilla vs King Ghidorah, Godzilla vs Destoroyah, and King Kong vs Godzilla ... Franz Waxman's Bride of Frankenstein ... Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite 1- AND- the premiere of Thomas Maslan’s new Svengoolie Variations, inspired by the theme song of the Sven TV show ! The concert starts at 3:30 pm at Lemont High School's Performing Arts Center, 425 Julia Street, Lemont - just a few minutes from the intersection of Lemont Road and I-55. $24, with discounts to $22 for seniors and $5 for teens, and free admission for kids.
