Meet Sven at Flashback Weekend Horror Convention This Saturday Afternoon!

This Saturday  August 10th- I'm happy to return to Flashback Weekend horror convention at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare in Rosemont!

Come by and say hello Saturday afternoon- from 2 to 4 pm, you can get an autograph,and  take a photo with me (at NO cost- though there is a charge to get into the convention) in the Metro Room. We will have Sven glow in the dark t-shirts as well as our collector's button sets available for purchase. Please come early- we usually have to cut off the line in order to finish on time- because...

At about 4:20, I host the annual costume contest- always full of fun and imaginative costumes, and the opportunity for your pal Mr. Goolie to crack wise at will. (I know- "Who's Will?") Usually, our good friend Nick Digilio from WGN radio is kind enough to  introduce me to the audience.

This is an event I look forward to every year- it's always a good time, and  we often get to say hello to some of the cool celebrity guests that show up every year! Among them this year- the incredible "Godfather of the Living Dead" -George Romero! Plus, plenty of merchandise dealers, costumed convention attendees, and more!

Please note -this is NOT the Wizard World convention- we're across the street at the Crowne Plaza!
