“Monster on the Campus”- and on Me-TV- Tonight!

Posted on September 21, 2013

Better be in place before the bell rings at 9 pm tonight- when there's  a crash course on terror when we discover a "Monster on the Campus"!

A very special specimen of a fish that has resisted any sort of evolutionary change since the dawn of time is delivered to a professor's lab- and, when a student's dog laps up some of the melted ice from the  specimen box- it suddenly turns savage! No one can figure out why- or why it suddenly has huge fang-like teeth!

The professor  is moving the specimen when he injures his hand- and dips it in the watery residue of the specimen box to boot! Before long he isn't feeling very well- and then- one of his associates is found murdered- and his home ransacked!

Before long, there are more bodies- and  more bizarre  cases of living things devolving into their more primitive forms- and that includes- man! The police begin their search for a madman who seems less than human- and more than deadly!

This 1958 flick is fun sci-fi horror- with a cast that features some favorites of the 50s and 60s- including teen heartthrob Troy Donahue, the beloved Whit Bissell, and more. We'll point them all out to you, along with some fun Sven stick-as Sven attends classes and has some frat house fun! Watch for  the appearance of famed former TNA Wrestling star Tara/ WWE Diva Victoria- Lisa Marie Varon- as she teaches Sven a lesson!

"Monster on the Campus" shows up on Me-TV tonight at 10 pm eastern and pacific, 9 pm central, and please check for time in your area. In Chicago, get an encore look at "Phantom of the Opera" at 11 am on WCIU, the U. Please tune in right at the start of either show- for a brief tribute to the late great original Svengoolie, Jerry G. Bishop.

If you are near the Chicago area- don't forget you can watch Sven WITH Sven- and Lisa Marie as well- at a special viewing party at her restaurant, the Squared Circle- tonight! Full details are in our previous blog, or under our "appearances" tab on this site! We look forward to seeing you- seeing us!
