More Radio-Active Sven- ETC.

Okay- that "Nerdist" guy who does "@midnight" on Comedy Central isn't much of a nerd- or  doing his own research. Last night, they showed-out of context- a clip from my WFLD days, when we did a parody of "Puttin on the Ritz"  about the "Boot" being put on cars- they only used the part with me "tap-dancing" supposedly with the heavy "boots" on each foot. He made some lame jokes, and also said it was from a cable access show- which proves he merely borrowed something from an article on the Huffington Post site from a while back, about "weirdest cable access shows" that used the same clip- and also said we were a cable access show. Oh, well- not a fan of his, anyway...

If you're a Sven fan, you can stay up late with me tonight- I'll be on at about 2:15 am with Nick Digilio on WGN (720 AM)! If you're not a night owl, and live in northwest Indiana, you can hear me tomorrow, Wednesday, a little after 5 pm on WJOB (1230 AM) in Hammond. The topic on both shows will no doubt be the Friday event at Chicago's Museum of Broadcast Communications. On Thursday morning, my close personal friend Rich Koz will also be talking about that event on WCIU-TV's "You and Me This Morning" show during their 8:00 am hour.

Don't forget  that Friday night event- all the information, along with ticket ordering, can be found at www.museum.tv - and, yes, if not sold out- tickets will be available at the door. I've been told that WBAL in Baltimore- which has been pre-empting us- has heard the complaints of viewers who want to see the Sven show- and will shift our program to a later time on Saturdays so it can be seen- in its entirety! If you can confirm that- please do- and thanks for the loyal support of so many Sven fans to get that done! You guys are awesome!
