More Sven News- From Hockey Shout-outs to Small T-Shirts!

This quick update- some of you may remember me mentioning that, on various NBC sports broadcasts of hockey games earlier this year- play-by-play commentator Mike "Doc" Emerick would occasionally mention Svengoolie! I had no idea why- I've never met Doc, and we've been trying to figure out why he'd bring my name up ever since then.

Well- the mystery has been solved! Thanks to my friends Bill and Wendy, who are on WGN radio (720 AM) weekdays from 10 to noon, then back 1pm to 3 pm- had Doc on as a guest to talk about Wednesday night's Chicago Blackhawks'  pre-season opener- and bill was nice enough to ask Doc about it. Sure enough, he's a fan of the show- and mentioned that he especially enjoys when I give details about the cast and background info about the movies! Thanks to  Bill and Wendy (and , of course, Doc!) for finally giving me the answer! Bill said that they'd post a podcast of the segment- and you can find it at :
