Official “Svengoolie/Rich Koz Day” Schedule

Friday- October 31, 2014- Halloween- is also, by proclamation of both Chicago and Illinois, "Svengoolie/Rich Koz Day" in both the city and the entire state! This great honor makes me very proud- as has my 35 year career as the Sven character.I am grateful for the support of all our loyal viewers- new and old!

Here's what I'll be doing on Friday:

Starting at 5 am on MeTV- I'm taking over, bringing you scary episodes of all the regularly scheduled shows. I'll pop up throughout the day, and into the night- ending at 3 am with the classic "Route 66" episode featuring Boris Karloff, Lon Chaney Jr, and Peter Lorre! Watch for my posts on MeTV's Facebook and Twitter pages as well!

8:05 am or so- See me with my friends Jeanne Sparrow and Melissa Forman on the "You and Me This Morning" show on WCIU- the U ! I'll be hanging out with them for that hour- and wait until you see their costumes!

There's a good chance I'll do a quick visit to the famed Palace Grill near the United Center to say hello to George and Christina- our genial hosts...

Then- even on my day- time to do some work!!!

Later ,after an in-house celebration:

I'll be on WBEZ at 3:40 via the phone for an interview- then, at about 5:05 pm- I return to the Bill and Wendy Show on WGN (720 AM)-in studio- for my traditional Halloween visit- we will be in the Showcase Studio,right on Michigan Avenue, so you can watch the broadcast!

Then- it's on to the United Center, where I'm very proud to be a part of the Chicago Bulls' home opener! Watch for me signing autographs before the game, and then- a surprise or two! Being a longtime Bulls fan, this is the perfect way for me to wind up my official day!
