On the Radio Today (Labor Day!)

Posted on September 1, 2014

I guess Labor Day means doing a little labor- so, I'm taking time from my holiday to join my friend Dave Plier on WGN radio (720 AM) today, Monday, at around 5:35 pm, to talk about the Sven coffin and event coming up at the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago. I'm sure other things will be discussed, as well. We will be in the Michigan Avenue "showcase" studio! WGN is heard all over the nation, so our viewers all over the country should be able to tune in -or, just go to the WGN radio website and listen.

Thanks for the nice comments regarding the "encore performance" of  "Mad Ghoul" featuring the story of the new Sven coffin. If you get our monthly newsletter, you know that the same master craftsmen of Acme Design Inc. will be refurbishing our dungeon studio set- we'll give you progress reports as it goes along!

I was chuckling about the fact that, from reading some of the comments on our blog page made during our show (as well as some people who "live-Tweet" during it every week)-people will bring up questions or state information that others "might not know"-the only thing is, it's sometimes stuff we have answered or already stated IN the show, that they must have missed! Re:  movie info and trivia-I get in what I can, of course, and don't have the time to really elaborate on a lot of things, and it's very impressive to me that  some of our viewers have some amazing knowledge that they share. It's great that so many of our viewers are taking part in both the blog comment and Twitter activities-and creates a real community among our fans...just don't let it  distract you from what we're doing on the air!

Hope everyone is enjoying this "last gasp of summer" on the Labor Day weekend. Even though this is our last day of that- keep in mind that it means, for many of us, a shorter work week this week!
