Svengoolie Original Comic Book “Svengoolie: Lost in Time” Now Available in Specialty Comic Book Stores

MeTV, America’s #1 classical TV network, in partnership with comic book publisher Frank Miller Presents, is pleased to celebrate beloved horror host Svengoolie in his all-new original comic book “Svengoolie: Lost in Time” now on sale in specialty comic books stores nationwide. In support of this new feature length comic, Svengoolie will be appearing at Chicago area comic book signings on Friday, July 14 at Graham Crackers Comics in the Chicago Loop 11am to Noon central and then at Aw Yeah Comics in Skokie from 2 to 3pm central. “Svengoolie: Lost in Time” is a 48-page prestige comic featuring Svengoolie in his first full-length adventure. Written by Rich (Svengoolie) Koz, Jim Roche, and Chris Faulkner (the show's creative team), the story features the untold origins of Svengoolie's crazy cast of characters as an evil Svenbot tries to erase them all from existence. You can expect bad puns and silly jokes on every page, as Sven must go back in time to save Kerwyn, Tombstone, and Boddy Sorrell from a fate worse than old jokes. This book will surely please the series's fans, young and old.

Joining the Svengoolie writing team are artists Chris Jones (Svengoolie Meets DCU; Batman Adventures), Art Balthazar and Franco Aureliani (Tiny Titans; Ah Yeah Comics), and Jill Thompson (Sandman; Scary Godmother) with Chris Jones and Stephane Roux providing the covers.

Horror movie host, Rich Koz/ Svengoolie, has been a television mainstay for over 40 years. Currently, Svengoolie airs weekly on MeTV, Saturday Evenings, and averages 2.5 million viewers nationwide with over 230,000 followers on social media.
