Sven’s Saturday- C2E2 and “Creature Walks Among Us”!

I'm back on the road, and he's back from the Black Lagoon- I do my first public appearance in months at Chicago's C2E2 comics and entertainment convention- while the Gill Man is reborn as a land dweller in "The Creature Walks Among Us"!

As I've mentioned previously, I'll be at McCormick Place on Chicago's fantastic lakefront, doing an autograph signing and posing for pictures with you, from 4:15 to 6 pm today. I'm happy to be able to visit with my fans and friends again!

Tonight, though, we revisit an old "friend"- the Creature from the Black Lagoon- in the final part of the Gill Man trilogy- as a wealthy doctor , accompanied by his unhappy wife, leads a crew of scientists to find the still-existent Creature who escaped from Ocean Harbor in the last film-"Revenge of the Creature". The Gill Man is , as always, a powerful foe- but things take a bad turn during his capture, leaving only one way to keep him alive- by operating on him and converting his respiratory system so that he can breathe air!

Can the Creature adapt to land life? Will the doctor's mistreated wife become the Gill Man's latest love interest- or do both he and the doctor have a rival or two? Is this an evolution for  the Creature- or will he feel the surface world  is not his cup of seaweed?

This much-requested 1956 "Creature" feature brings a close to the Gill Man's story- but, as far as fans are concerned, we could have used more sequels! We'll fill you in on the cast- some of whom you've seen before on our show- and add  some added Sven flavoring- like trying to get the Gill Man used to civilization- such as it is!

"The Creature Walks Among Us" will step off on Me-TV at 10 pm eastern and pacific, 9 pm central, or, consult your local listings to  find when the show runs in your neck of the woods. In Chicago, you'll also get a rerun of the popular "Invisible Woman" at 11 am on WCIU- the U!
