Thank You for All Those (birthday) Cards and Letters!

I just want to say a big THANK YOU to you all for the very kind birthday wishes.I know that, unfortunately, I could never keep up with personally thanking everybody separately, so please accept these humble words of thanks. I think I have come to cherish each birthday even more after things I've gone through, and I take nothing for granted, believe me- especially your support and kindness. Now, if only Kerwyn would refrain from trying to blow out MY candles...

My first big appearance of the year comes up on Thursday, March 27th- and it's a return to one of my favorite yearly events that I couldn't attend last year. It's the Brookfield Zoo AAZK Spaghetti Dinner! Every year, the AAZK holds this benefit event, with proceeds going to Vital Ground, an organization that helps secure and maintain land in the wild for  bears (no, not the Soldier Field variety...)and other wildlife. The event takes place from 4 to 8 pm. and I'll be there , signing autographs and taking photos with you, from 5:30 to 7 pm. with the admission donation, you'll get the dinner-plus- a silent and a live auction of very unique items,you can take part in the "brown bag raffle",there will be  Brookfield and Vital Ground merchandise, there'll be a dj- it's a fun evening for the entire family.

After missing the event last year while recuperating, I'm so happy to be able to attend this year! I hope you will, as well. And- there are already more Sven appearances being planned for next month and beyond- so, I hope to see you somewhere -in person- soon!
