“The Leech Woman” Picks Your Brain- Tonight!

An aging beauty who feels like  her nasty hubby no longer loves her gets a new lease on being young and beautiful- but at a deadly cost- in "The Leech Woman"- tonight's new show on Me-TV!

Poor June has been turning to the bottle to drown her sorrows, while her endocrinologist hubby has ignored and insulted her- but- one day- an aged African woman visits his office- and reveals she has an ancient potion from her homeland that will reverse the aging process! He arrives home moments after his wife has tried to put the make on their lawyer- and announces that he will take her on an expedition to Africa to try and find the amazing cure for aging. They head to the mysterious continent, and find a guide who doesn't mind going into a forbidden portion of the area- as long as he gets slipped the right amount of cash!

The search for the tribe of the old African woman begins- and ends when they are captured by her tribe. She reveals the secret potion- and that its necessary additive is liquid from the pineal gland of  a human brain! June thinks it's worth it to be young again-but doesn't realize that the cure doesn't last long- and that she'll need a new victim every time to remain young!

This 1960 film has a lot of stock footage of wild animals- the actors point at something, and it cuts to (often grainy) footage of some animals in the jungle! It features some recognizable actors, including Grant Williams- and we'll run down  who's who in the cast. We'll also give you a look at last Halloween's "Miss Zombie" beauty pageant at the undead-filled "Nightmare on Chicago Street" event in Elgin, IL (and , yes- I'll be appearing there this year as well!)

"Leech Woman" will be broadcast on Svengoolie at 10 pm eastern and pacific, 9 pm central, or, check your local listings- on Me-TV! In Chicago, you get an encore look  at "Monster on the Campus" -with the hilarious special guest appearance by wrestling diva superstar Lisa Marie Varon- at 11 am on WCIU, the U!
