The Mummy Saga continues with “Mummy’s Tomb”- Tomb-night!

Tonight on Me-TV- we continue the story of Kharis the living mummy, as we pick up the story with the Mummy coming to America for vengeance in "The Mummy's Tomb"!

It's 30 years after the expedition  where Steve Banning and his pal Babe battled the Mummy at Ananka's tomb- and Steve tells his family all about it- not knowing that the  high priest  they thought had died still lives, and is sending  his protege- along with the Mummy- to the states from Egypt to get revenge by killing off  everyone who was involved in the expedition- and maybe a few relatives as well!...and- might there be a female who tempts one of the Egyptian visitors?

Lon Chaney Jr. gets wrapped up in the role of Kharis (but we also see stock footage of past Mummy portrayers), and we get the mysterious Turhan Bey as the new mummy handler. Some cast members from "Mummy's Hand" are in attendence-like Dick Foran, Wallace Ford (definitely NOT as comedic as in the first flick) and George Zucco. As always, we'll tell you about the crew and feature some trivia- and give you Sven shtick!

"The Mummy's Tomb" will open tonight on Me-TV at 10 pm eastern and pacific, 9 pm central, and please check your local listings for our time in your area. In Chicago, you can catch up on the previous installment when we show "the Mummy's Hand" at 11 am on WCIU, the U!

A big thanks to the folks who came to "Bowling for Rhinos" Thursday night-we raised a nice sum for rhino preservation, and had a fun time with our friend Lisa Marie Varon- WWE's Victoria, and owner of the Squared Circle restaurant- home of the Svengoolie burger- and the powerful Rhino, currently wrestling for Ring of Honor, and a great guy! By the way- looks like the Sven Halloween appearance tour starts mid-to-late September, with new stops being added as we speak! Be watching for further developements!
