Cartoons in the 1970s could be a little kooky. This was the decade that sent an animated Fonzie traveling through time with a dog named Mr. Cool. But we adore the Saturday morning shows of our youth.
In 1979, NBC promoted its new animated schedule with a full-page newspaper ad. It was a quiz about their stable of toons — and it could win you membership into the super exclusive "NBC Saturday Morning Peacock Club." Check out the ad and scroll down to take the quiz!

Mostly, we just thought this was a cool artifact from our 1970s youth. Did you watch any of these cartoons?
Good luck! Oh, and a brief disclaimer: You can no longer send in your results to NBC for a "special iron-on and card." Alas!

9. "See Johnny Quest!" A quest is…
Johnny was misspelled. There is no 'h' in Johnny Quest's name.
Also since when is Casper a "Guardian Angel"? He was always known as a "Friendly Ghost".
I was never a fan of the NBC line-ups, I always preferred the ABC and CBS line-ups.

Casper the Friendly Ghost is a "guardian ghost" to two female Space Police officers named Mini (who is a rather ditzy redhead) and Maxi (who is a much more intelligent African-American woman with a very short temper) who patrol the Jetsons-style Space City on their flying motorcycles in the year 2179.
