Are these quotes from the Peanuts gang or Jean-Paul Sartre?
This one's trickier than you'd think!
Peanuts is one of the most successful media properties of all time. They've got a comic strip, TV specials, movies, books, and even theme park rides! The Peanuts characters, created by Charles M. Schulz, have been adored for generations worldwide.
Jean-Paul Sartre was a French philosopher, playwright, and novelist. He was considered to be one of the foremost figures in existentialism.
So, it should be pretty easy to tell one from the other, right? There's no way you'd confuse Peanuts characters with Sartre, right? Give it a shot! Because Charlie Brown had some philosophical things to say as well.
We've compiled quotes from the Frenchman and from the Peanuts, and now it's your job to tell us which is which. They could be quotes from the Peanuts strip, or maybe from their TV specials. Or, they could be something Sartre said out loud, or in his writing.
