I got 7 out of 10 right 👍! There's a picture of Kolchak, the Night Stalker above my results, Darren McGavin 😄. This was a good quiz 🙂👍! I watch a lot of film noir movies so I was able to puzzle out the titles.

The poster with Robert Mitchum on it is for one of my favorite movies featuring him in it. Also, one of these posters actually has the answer to the question on it. MeTV should've Photoshopped it off before putting it up. Fun quiz, MeTV 🙂👍!

Welcome to Movie Quiz Night.

It is hard to describe the brilliance of this movie. I think X Movie is X director best film and is a textbook example of a great director at the peak of his talents. The film crackles with raw energy and enthusiasm, the film is superbly directed and the final sequence is nothing short of stunning. The script is also excellent with memorable quotes, the story is never less than compelling and the pop and rock soundtrack is winning. The cinematography and detail is immaculate, and the ensemble cast is one of film's finest. X actor won an Oscar for his performance, and as good as he was, he is perfectly matched by other actors in the film. All in all, it is a brilliant film and an instant classic no matter what time, day, week or year. Easily hits most everyone's top 100 if not 25. Once watched you will never forget the quotes, scenes and actors in this hit blockbuster. One actor has 2 Oscars and another for this movie. I found this just a week ago to my surprise. It will keep you on the edge of your seat to say the least.

7/10 - all guesses. Some of these films look GREAT!
CarolKelley Runeshaper 8 days ago
and some of them are masterpieces! The Night of the Hunter, in particular. Ir was directed by Charles Laughton; he as disappointed in the film and never directed another. it is widely regarded now as a classic. Robert Mitchum is downright scary and Lilian Gish is wonderful as the kind lady who takes the kids in.

Sounds EXCELLENT!

And chased that charlatan preacher away. Also remember that wicked scream he made when she went after him. Top film for sure. Mitchum played evil and good characters just as well. Cape Fear being another evil type of guy. Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison a decent guy along with his captain of a ship after a German Sub. I would say right off hand a dozen great movies.

"Here's the moment of truth. You got 5 out of 10." "Let's find another way to pass this quiz. Try again!" I got 1, 2, 4, 6 and 10 wrong.

4/10. Not Good. But on a better note- just binge watched the first season of the new "Perry Mason" series on HBO. Best series I've seen on television since "Sorpranos" and "Boardwalk Empire". Many episodes directed by Tim Van Patten who directed many of the best "Sorpranos" episodes. I couldn't stop watching it. Nothing like the 50's TV series. Very dark and gritty. Surprised I haven't heard more talk about it. Do yourself a TV solid and check it out!
