In the early days of television, companies weren’t shy about their connections with the medium. There was no denying which brands were behind shows like The Colgate Comedy Hour and General Electric Theater.
But even as TV came into its own in the late '50s and early '60s, most shows only had one or two main sponsors. The companies behind each series usually had the cast pitch products as part of a show’s opening credits. Can you match these classic shows with the sponsors each actor is selling?

Flintstones were sponsored by Winston cigarettes ( Barney said the famous line, Winston tastes good like a cigarette should).
Most on this list weren't the MAIN sponsors but the "alternate sponsors".
The AD agencies bought the time slots on the network, decided the show, and placed their clients ads. Most companies couldn't afford 39 weeks of TV, so the MAJOR sponsors would pay for 26 weeks, and ALTERNATEs paid for 13.
