I've never seen "Silence of the Lambs." I only saw "The Exorcist" once when it was on tv back in the late 70's or early 80's. I came across it by accident, but I didn't watch much. I think I was home alone at the time so I wasn't totally comfortable. I haven't had any desire to see the full movie. I will probably still watch "The Haunting" at some point. I promised Texasluva that I would and I don't want to wimp out. 😒

See you @ https://metv.com/quiz/can-you-match-the-scary-movie-to-its-tagline
Where everyone can take a guess or make comments to other quizzers.
There will be extra bonus movies for just coming by. Including entertainment for all. Feel free to ask questions, copy movie links and just plain join in the fun via communication. The MQ will be up until the movie is guessed and an hour to look over and pick out what you wish. Have fun doing so. There are no wrong answers but the first one to guess the correct movie gets their names put up for getting it correctly.
Good luck and enjoy and check out the early Bird vids for quizzers

Watched the early-bird clips. Great Columbo. 🔍 I love how he got the commissioner to betray himself. FredFlix was fun. Great music too. it must have been amazing at the T.A.M.I. Show. The late Teri Garr was a dancer on the show. So many great performers. Wonderful trailers. I don’t recall “Boomerang”. 🤔 It looks interesting. The Treasure Of The Sierra Madre is an excellent movie. Tim Holt was wonderful in it but has kind of been lost between Bogart and Walter Huston. Fun fact: Walter Huston removed some of his false teeth to play the role. I am saving WML for after movie quiz entertainment.

I’m a BIG fan of “The Apartment” (first time I watched it was with my older son, the archivist/Historian who is a film aficionado about 6 years ago), “To Sir, With Love” is amazing, “Man on a Tightrope” is so underrated and unknown, and the REAL 1942 “To Be or Not to Be” is THE BEST—dark, dry, tongue-in-cheek humor, while making a #1 propaganda film for WWII! Fantastic choices!! 🥳

That's just what I thought in choosing them. I have so many flicks that it is sometimes hard to pick what I think others would like. I try to do a cross section of genres. Some do not like horror or even film-noir. I always say try it and if not then pass on it. I also try to pick horror or sci-fi with some humor in them. Abbot/Costello Meets Them or like Mars Attacks that one gets laughs watching, Young Frankenstein also comes to mind. Those they love. One likes Film noir while another doesn't so much. Also having Disney that everyone wants. Then me trying to remember what I've shown in the past 6 months I sometimes overdo a movie or two. I always try and pick a movie that has been done a few times with the best one of the batch. You probably won't get Psycho 2 or onwards but sure will get the 1960 Hitchcock flick blockbuster. I think I have most all of Mr. Hitchcock's films. Leastwise 1940 and after. Have Bogarts films from 30's to 50's. Probably show Key Largo and Casablanca once a year.

Stick around you'll get many you've wanted to see or see again. Also on my timeline you can find most all of my Movie Quizzes from the past.

I mean, tonight—it’s here, right?
texasluva 27 days ago
Yes. You can sit and wait like everyone does. Sometimes they make comments to each other before hand while one you only hear once the movie starts. We may be minus AWL tonight since I have not heard from her this week. If not she will be back in the next ones.

When you see the early bird entertainment gone it will be in roughly 10 min till the MQ starts. Screen above will fill up with everything. Clues at top of the page. Movies after entertainment. I try to answer as fast as possible I have to go up and down the list fast. below my reply you might see a blue screen stating the link is longer so you might have to click it to get all the info on our link. It sort of doubles up once it gets large.

10/10. I remember back in the days of the video store (VHS, at that), I was standing in the horror movie section. A woman came by and said "I want to see a scary movie tonight. What would you recommend?" As fate would have it, I was standing right in front of my favorite Price movie: "Theater of Blood". I grabbed the tag and handed it to her. "I'm not a Vincent Price fan." she said. If I had the power, I would have gone full "Scanners" on her and blown up her head!
