I chose the 50’s. I like cheesy classic sci- fi and will watch over and over.

100% Similar. 70s had the scariest horror movies. I still refuse to watch The Exorcist.

17%. This was a hard decision. I love scary movies. I picked the 60s. Although, the movie that scared me the most was in the 70s, JAWS!

18 percent with the 60s. Since I don’t actually like being scared, I prefer the classic movies of the 30s and 40s.

70%.. chose the 60’s. The Haunting was one scary movie without blood and gore. Rosemary’s Baby was certainly unnerving. Psycho and Night of the Living Dead of course were scary.

20%. I chose the 30s. 70s would have been my number 2.

IMHO nothing can beat a black and white horror film. Not the gore and graphic bloodshed that was to come in the 70s onward, but for dramatic effect and psychological effect, black and white tops them all.
I like B&W for suspense and terror (not quite the same as horror). One of the most terrifying movies I've ever seen was Fritz Lang's "M", starring Peter Lorre. What Lang did with shadows and reflections was sheer genius.

100% I picked the 70's. But if they asked what decade had the best classic sci-fi movies I would have to go with the 50's.
