Friday Movie Quiz

This Classic movie film noir adventure, with drama and crime. A murderous thief on the run with stolen loot. Needs the help of a rancher to get away into Mexico. The biggest problem is the ranchers redheaded wife. Which used to be the girl friend of this criminal. Two of the actors have Academy awards gold for other movies. The movies name is the Theme song for the movie sung by B Winn. Though the movie is not a classic giant there is more action then one would bargain for. I would not trust the lot of them with my back turned. One played in a Hitchcock thriller, another The Ten Commandants. One with 2 Oscars for best supporting actor in other films. This is a very good watch especially if one has not seen before.

6 0f 10. I did not pass Go and I did not collect $200! Pretty soon we'll be able to play the game with cryptocurrency and Monopoly money. It looks lately, that "being rich" in both of these currencies might be worth about the same...

I did lousy. 5 out of 10. Let's do a Clue one next time.

IMO, 4 houses are more valuable than 1 hotel. The rent difference between the two is marginal. However, if a player builds houses and does not upgrade to hotels, in effect that player has a monopoly on houses and prevents other players from building houses and upgrading to hotels. There is a limited number of houses in the game and a player can keep rent down on opposing properties by keeping houses on their property.

My son used to play so cutthroat it was like the game was played with real money and real property. He’s older now and would still play that way.. too intense for me. It’s JUST A GAME for Pete’s sake. He made it not fun at all

I always hated playing Monopoly, unless we were having a few beers!
