Can you recognize Andy Griffith Show actors on Happy Days?

Ron Howard wasn't the only actor to appear on both sitcoms!

Ron Howard is the obvious link between Happy Days and The Andy Griffith Show. The young star became a household name thanks to the two beloved sitcoms.

But he was not the only actor to pop up on both shows. Indeed, there were several mini Mayberry reunions.

We gathered some characters who appeared in '50s/'60s Milwaukee and '60s Mayberry. Let's see if you can properly identify them all!

  1. Let's start with an easy one. You know and love him as Richie Cunningham, but back in his Mayberry days, he was known as…?

  6. He drove the governor's car in Mayberry and was a neighbor of the Cunninghams on Happy Days. Who is he?

10/10 I didn't realize that many of TAGS cast was on Happy Days. TAGS show holds up well, Happy Days, not at all, except for the 1st couple of seasons. Even as a kid, I kept saying why are they dressed in modern clothes, when it was set in the 50/60's.

9 of 10. I missed #7. The questions were so easy, I sped through them and went for "Darling" when I saw Charlene in the picture. Another fun quiz!

9 out of 10. Elinor Donohue who played Ellie Walker looked completely different on Happy Days. I just couldnt recognize her face at all.
You're right. I looked longest at her pic before selecting her

I agree! But I know how Helen Crump looked later and thinking back to the show, Peggy had a different face shape. I had to squint my eyes to come close to seeing Ellie Walker in that picture - in fact, it was more of a process of elimination and a good guess that I got that one.

I got 10 of 10 but it was pretty easy for me because I recognized them all from the Andy Griffith Show.
